File Names

  1. All pages or spreads are named the same - 01.jpg, 02.jpg, ..., 99.jpg;
  2. The name of the cover engraving is "cover";
  3. Insert element on the cover (photo inserts, metal insert) - "photo insert 01.jpg", "metal insert 01.jpg";
  4. Use only "_" as a delimiter. The names of all files are written without spaces, in Latin letters. The number of characters should be the same everywhere. If it is 120 pages, then the files should be 001, 002, ... 010, 011 ... 120.

Preparing Files

  5. Print format: psd, tiff, bmp, png, pdf, cdr, ai - NOT ACCEPTED !.

When checking an order, managers only check the file size, dpi, and file name. We do not check the color profile and design errors and are not liable if you loaded in the wrong profile and because of this a change in color reproduction has occurred!

Rename files, resize, dpi, crop (tweak, fit to size) inserts, covers, spreads, etc. 100 UAH / hour (min the cost of any work is 25 UAH)

Names and hierarchy of folders when loading the archive

  1. Name of the selected product (for example, "Photobook" Wood ");
  2. Names of the option (component). Example:" Number of spreads "," Photographer's logo "," Metal insert (nameplate). Download files to these folders for printing according to the correct signatures (indicated above);

If the files or folder are not signed correctly, the order is not accepted.

Design and trimming

  1. Trimming a book block is an indispensable technological process. Up to 5 mm on each side of the edge of the file (page spread / page), to be trimmed. Do not place important elements in the design to the specified size;
  2. If you want a frame as a result (where the photo is not on the fly), the indent from the safe zone is at least 5 mm (that is, 10 mm from the edge). If less than 10 mm, the frames may be uneven and of different sizes;
  3. U-turns for Photobook, Slimbook have scoring (bending) in the center of the spread, pay attention to what elements of the photo can be left in the center;
  4. The area of ​​possible cropping implies the possibility of cropping, but does not guarantee it.
